    Hi All,

So, the Toyota Care Plus is sold based on the following Years/Mileage:

    3 YEARS 35,000 MILES
    3 YEARS 45,000 MILES
    4 YEARS 45,000 MILES
    4 YEARS 60,000 MILES
    5 YEARS 55,000 MILES
    5 YEARS 75,000 MILES

Today, i heard from the "Finance Guy Jerry" that Toyota has a "1 year grace period" - so that if i don't reach 75k miles in 5 years, and show up for my 75k miles service on 6th year. They supposedly they will still honor the mileage and do the 75k miles service (even though i'm past 5 years maintenance term).

Of course he said it's not written anywhere, but he "called Toyota cooperate and they told him about this grace period".

Did anyone hear about this "1 year grace period" and will they honor it?

I had the Toyota care plus on my Taco and that wasn’t the case, but that may have been my dealer also. To be honest I didn’t even consider the 5 year deal, only thought about the milage.

Sounds like a great PR move. Positive PR always ends up in writing because of course it would.

This isn't in writing and therefore a load of BS. It may happen from time to time based on the specific instance but it's not something to rely upon. Discretion and obligation are miles apart.
