6 pieces? You mean the head light buckets, the turn signal assemblies, and the fog lights? Blacked out?

No I want completely new headlamps blacked out headlamps blacked out turn signals and blacked out tail lights but I can't find a company that sells a kit all I can find is first generation headlights tail lights and turn signals all separate but I heard an '05 Tundra headlight is all one unit instead of two pieces instead of the headlamp bucket and the turn signal it's all one piece and supposedly it wraps around and fits in there you just got to like hone out a couple holes but I don't know how true that is and I don't want to get myself into a mess so I was just trying to dress it up and it's my newer truck I had another one before this and this one here is in the female condition I want to dress it up I've heard mixed opinions on the Block that headlights so unless you get the blocked out LEDs they're not worth getting cuz you can't see s*** that's what I was told but if I can find a company that has to complete kit I love to do that thank you for your reply and if you have any info please let me know

I've never heard of a one piece head/turn assembly for these trucks of any year. 2000-2006.

I'm confused by what you mean blocked? Can you post a link to what you're looking at?

Any head lights that say they fit an access cab, or regular cab should fit. Any double cab head lights won't fit.

So 2000 to 2006and what six the headlamps and the turn signals will bolt right into the front grill of a 2001 tail lights as well is that what I'm on the impression of right now cuz I seen these ones online for an 05 and 06 that they're one unit and they just they just wrap around differently and they put them in as one piece you bolt on your headlight bucket and you just pushing your grommets you know the plastic pieces on the other blinker side you just push them in the grommets but I don't know if that kind of stuff is something that needs fabrication or not

Yeah but that only shows the headlamp it shows a turn signal but it looks like it's one piece that's what I'm saying mine is the helium bucket and the turn signal comes out separate just like I thought all of them do that looks like it's all one piece the headlamp and the turn signal or looks like it's just the headlamp that's where I'm getting confused

So it looks like by the picture even it's all one piece it just pops in just like if I had the two pieces taken out the truck I take out my headlamp take all the turns signal and that will pop right in place of both right am I correcting that I don't usually try to upgrade and have lights and all that stuff I usually leave them alone about the truck is a very nice maroon no rust everything underneath this brand new it's got a belt motor dual exhaust tinted windows the only thing it's missing really is something sporty like you know the lights just look plain so I want to upgrade them lights to a different style I I wanted to black them out. My head lamp buckets and turn signals are 2 separate pieces why I am.confused how that's 1 piece.

Those lights are exactly what I'm after I just thought that it look like one piece it could be two pieces I heard 0506 they changed the front but they look the same to me 07 I know they changed cuz I put a 07 bed on a 2003 Tundra and it bolted on but it just different Body Lines and different moldings different shape but we bolted it on and it looked good I used to be a GM guy but after I bought my first gen Toyota I fell in love with it so much that I won't buy anything above first gen I heard 2013 are the worst years you can buy they have so many issues with him it's insane and I heard the best year you could buy was the 2012 which is weird there one year apart I don't get that but if you look it up on Google it says 2012 is the best you attend to that you could possibly own the best engine of course is GM 5.7 block design that Toyota and Dodge all about the rates for and change a few specs here and there but it's pretty much a 350 Chevy engine which when I was a Chevy guy a 350 was one of the most bulletproof engines you could have so I don't blame them for switching over and buying out the design that's why GM can't make a 5-7 anymore they can only do a five three four eight 6 l 660 diesel I think a 6.1 possibly not sure but they cannot do a 5-7 l which is too bad because it would have been one hell of an engine in these new Chevy and GMC trucks but I think the only highest gear I'll move up is about 2005 or 6 I'm going to stick with my first gen Toyota's I love them I love the power I love the power I love the torque The Way They Ride they're just really asking light I live in New England we get a lot of snow and unless you put weight in the back I guess it's about the same as any other four wheel drive there's useless two tits on a bull LOL but I got to lift kit that I want to put on it rough country I got some 285 70 16s that will go right on my rims I got plans I'll take some pictures of the truck if I can figure out how to post them on here with that many mileage on the truck you would never even know it's all highway mileage and it's been very well taken care of the other truck I had was new motor new frame new transmission s*** like that but it was beat pretty hard it was owned by an old man that gave it to his grandson and Grandson just beat on it for a year that he had it this one here is night and day I'm missing that 3.4 l 6 cylinder gas mileage though LOL thank everybody for the help I'm hoping I can figure out exactly what I need to order and see I couldn't figure out what they call a double cab and an access cab mine has four doors but you have to open the front doors to get the rear doors to open even though they have their handle on the outside so I was confused of what you know they consider double cab I have six and a half foot better believe so mine I believe is just an access cab I'm not too familiar with how Toyota labels all there cab designs cuz I've seen some that don't even have handles in the doors they're just looks like a door but there's no handle and you can't open it you got to crawl in through the front doors I miss the t100s that were out and things are pretty badass too but I guess I'm calling tonight I appreciate everybody's help sorry if I confuse anybody bear with me these first gen Tundras I worked at Toyota when they came out but never own one couldn't afford it now that I can I love them and I just I'm starting to see things here and there that I just little Nick pick s*** that needs to be taken care of if anybody has any advice on anything I know I got this spring I should definitely do timing belt pulleys idler get that done and I keep the oil changes done and they said these motors could go a million miles which I strongly believe cuz I've seen him go up over 700,000 easily on original equipment except for like plugs and wires stuff like that maintenance stuff you know of course same place interested in that 3.4 l 6 cylinder I got it's got the new transfer case new transmission newer engine underneath the truck is spotless it's just the outside body that needs body work even the bed rails and the cross members everything is mint it's just paint Plain Jane you know power nothing manual everything it's gray and I live in Maine so I can always set something up I'm selling it cheap enough cuz I need the money pretty bad to recuperate from some heat and oil and some other things I've had to deal with so I'd start off at agreeing and I work down from there or somebody's got something that they want to trade I'm interested in trades I'm looking for yo a somewhat decent four wheeler that runs good doesn't have to look pretty just has to run start Drive stop and not need a complete engine rebuild or some s*** like that LOL anybody's interested in just let me know if I can get pictures of it I can set up a time that somebody come look at it if you live in Maine or you close by just a thought I just hate to see it not be used it's got so much potential to get back on the road with the body work the transmission mount that I already have I just haven't put it in and it's not a broken leaf spring assembly it broke one leaf spring out of the assembly and it slipped out so it still can run and drive just fine but I would have changed both leaf springs if I kept it cuz you can get them online 480 bucks shipped to your door brand new ones with shackle kits bolts u-bolts everything that's what my plan was but then the heater went and I had to keep putting telephone off the antifreeze to keep keep the temperature right so I I put more than my share money into it I'm just done with it bought another one and hopefully this one treats me better knock on wood lol thank everybody again everybody have a good night any questions feel free to ask

This is way harder to follow than it needs to be lol. Typically with blacked out housing the light output absolutely sucks. I wouldn’t do it unless it was a retrofit projector setup.

You forgot to use periods. Anywhere. This is a simply answered question, and it has been answered. If you want a one piece headlight and turn signal, you’re gonna have to glue them together. And the headlights and taillights will both suck if they are blacked out. They are meant to produce light, blacking them out is counter productive. Good luck with your search

I normally have extremely long patience, and being a former GM guy, I was relating bigtime, and really interested in reading. I had to stop about 7 lines in, it hurt trying to read it. This, coming from the guy who loves to read way too much, and loves to type 5x as much as I love to read.

What would chevy and toyota think about chrysler and desoto using 5.7's without buying the rights?

you're trolling right? Theres no way you seriously believe thats why engines change displacements.

@shifty` @KNABORES you guys beat me to it. My eyes hurt, had to stop trying to read...I suspect it's voice text. Unfortunately it doesn't insert punctuation for us.
To OP, I would also suggest not blocking or blackout, whatever. The OEM headlamps suck bad enough you won't be able to see shit if you do actual black lenses. Do a good retrofit of some sort HID projector or LED. There are some really good how-to's around here somewhere.

It does, though, if you tell it. You just hafta say "Comma" and it adds a comma. "Period" and it adds a period and space. "Dash" and it adds a dash. "Question Mark" and "Exclamation Point" also. There are other keywords I'm missing, but if you use voice-to-text a lot, it's worth taking a minute to learn at least the big ones (comma & period). It gets really advanced, like "new line" should be like hitting ENTER, and "new paragraph" is like hitting ENTER twice to start a new block of text, if I recall.

I've gotten in the habit of speaking voice-to-text more slowly than I talk usually. When I pause in a sentence, that's my reminder to say "comma" or "period".

Yup, I know it does too! Didn't wanna drone on about voice-to-text. You find yourself sounding like a robot version of you, trying to send a text. It's sorta what my Google sounds like when reading text replies back to me if I'm driving. Last paragraph is key.
Do you want to send it?

Yeah, no. Ain’t nobody gonna read this.

BX built does headlight for our trucks. It’s not super easy to find on their site, and I’m not sure what you want, but they’re cool lights San can be customized in a myriad ways.

I read the whole thing. it was a lot. TLDR: he has a second Tundra with the V6 that he's going to sell and his new one is a super clean AC that has the 4.7. It probably needs a TB, which he will address in the spring. I started getting confused through the points about the 350 and why GM isn't using it any more.

Oh, and he lives in Maine.

How’s the fitment of the lights? I’ve been on Amazon and all the reviews say they aren’t a great fit compared to oem.
