Just installed a pair of Cornfed 1” spacers in the rear. They recommend getting an alignment. Is this really necessarily?

I just had one done when I installed my RC loaded leveling struts up front a few months ago, not sure what all would be affected in the rear if I didn’t get an alignment.

Sorry if this has been addressed before.

Not sure if alignment is needed but they recommend it, it’s not a bad idea.
Thinking about doing the same rear lift.
Would like to see a photo if you have it?

Is there any real way to align the rear end. Looked all fixed to me.

I have the cornfed rear spacers installed and I don’t think my alignment guy touched the rear.

Not sure what they would align in the rear and wouldn’t think it would affect anything up front with only lifting it an inch.

I’m sure you’re good on rear alignment.

Roger that. A little confirmation to ease the mind before potentially eating up a set of tires goes along ways.

Its not about rear alignment, its about the effective change to castor angle on the front suspension. Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it with only a 1 inch in the rear.

When you install a lift in the rear on a Tundra, 4 Runner or a GX you don't need an alignment. At list I never been told by my dealer that I need one after installing lifts on multiple trucks You have a straight axle in the back The only thing you changed when you installed the spacer is, you push the axle a little bit to the left due to the panhard bar angle change. You can rectify that by installing an adjustable bar if you that 1/4" or less is making you crazy.

how are you enjoying the lift? I am considering the same (rc leveling strut or M1 adj strut and cornfed 1” rear)
Does it ride noticeably rougher? tks

Most of my Miles are highway and haven’t noticed a change in that. I feel it is somewhat a stiffer ride on gravel roads I occasionally go down. But I feel the load E tires probably affected my ride the most.
