Wires but no switch in the dash?

    Any ideas what the 2nd from left wires control? There is no switch on the outer facing portion of the dash.

    These trucks are prewired for different trim levels. There are quite a few unused connectors that you will find.

    One is the glass break sensor for sure. I used it when I did the alarm.

    My 2010 SR5 had all the wires for all the missing options. I added 80% of them. (auto headlights, heated seats, auto HVAC) etc.

    So… what a re the rest? And can I just sub them out from something else like light switches for my overhead and rear LEDs…

    Check the build link in my signature.
    One is for the glass break sensor and the other is the parking sonar switch.
    You can tuck them out of the way and out anything you want in those blanks. But you can really use those connectors for anything but their intended switches/sensors

    In order left to right

    Left power port
    Glass Break Sensor (only actually installed on higher trim trucks)
    USB/AUX in to radio
    Right Power port

    FYI on 2014+ sonar button should be on the dash between steering wheel and radio. Next to tow haul button and traction control button.
