Hey Folks, saw a RAV4 in this colour recently, pretty fn sharp! I think would be an ideal addition to the lineup alongside the only other, much less blue blue (Blueprint). One of those colours that looks great clean or dirty. A lil flashy but not all the way into Voodoo territory. Probably the only one that could successfully pry me off 040 (nice try Midnight Black). Below is what it looks like. Who’s with me?!

Blueprint is about as blue as it gets...
I'd call that Blue Flame more of a Cyan, or sky blue... Not for me thanks, but to each their own.:)
I actually would have liked the Blueprint to be a little darker... I had a Wrangler in "True Blue" and that was super dark, almost black...

Buy a used Tundra in Calvary Blue

Or sit and wait - maybe they make it the “special” TRD Pro color some year in the future and some dealer will allow you to be the lucky fool who spends 100k on the “special” truck.

I mean I get liking a particular color - but the chances of a manufacturer making one and not pinning an “up charge” is slim - slimmer than slim if that manufacturer is Toyota. Kinda like Subaru - they are damn proud of those “one off” colors that they intro one year and of its well received brought into the line up the year following.

I’d just buy a nice gen 2.5 Cavalry Pro (thinking it was a 2019 Pro color - or 20 - I forget already) - that got brought back as a TRD Sport color in 2021. By the time Toyota actually brings a Gen 3 out in something similar - you’ll have been driving a truck the color you like the whole time and still will be able to recoup a fair amount of what you paid at todays prices.

Oh definitely not worth it to me to trade my 14 for another 2.5 gen. I’ve taken really good care of it and white is definitely most practical colour where I’m at- two lane hwy, bush roads, and 6 mos of snow. At some point, hopefully in at least 5 yrs and ideally more, I will retire whitey but for now I just ogle all the new tech and mileage and hope they drop a 3L diesel before I have to buy new.

Yes you’re right, reminded me of the new silverado (trail boss?) with that metallic sparkly sky blue. Blueprint is blue I was just meaning “in your face BLUE” vs the more subdued colour-changey stuff. I actually really like it but seeing them dirty or full of snow up here no thanks haha. Same for black, would look absolutely BA bit chin but I ain’t got time fo dat. Maybe when I’m retired, lol.

Looks like Cavalry Blue (Best blue they ever did) and Voodoo Blue had a baby.

Would really like to see Sandstone, Cement, Voodoo, Inferno and Cavalry back in the Tundra color charts. Frankly most of the current colors suck.

Can you imagine if they offer that Lime Rush color on the Tundra? It looks like someone threw up Mountain Dew on a Home Depot Ryobi tool, lol.

I actually think the 3rd Gen Tundra would look good in the Electric Lime Metallic that they ran on the Taco. It's a little more vibrant than the Lime Rush of the 4Runner.

Unfortunately Solar Octane is a 'Pro' only color.

I bet it'll hit the other trims next year, same way the others you listed did. All of those started at Pro exclusive colors and were bled down to other trims after the first year run.

Understood - I doubt I’d consider a change either with what you have.

Why not look into a wrap on what you have? Even in severe use conditions it should hold up reasonably well if using quality materials and professionally done. Keep what you have and get the color you like - should easily extend you until the 3rd gen gets a little track record behind it and color/drivetrain options potentially expand.
