Hi guys! I have a 2007 Tundra Limited with 245K miles on it. In the past two weeks when I turn on the AC or heat, I get a LOUD growling sound no matter the fan setting. The fan works, but the airflow is diminished. It will go away after driving a few minutes, but it sounds like Sasquatch inside the cab. Any suggestions on a fix? Thanks!!

Anti-sasquatch spray in the cabin air filter area could do the trick. I hear they HATE peppermint, maybe leave some mints unwrapped in your glovebox?

Peppermints are no problem! I am all out of Anti Sasquatch spray after the dog drank it. I could wear my Sasquatch t-shirt when I'm driving! I'll let you know how it works out!!:yay:

    Pretty things
If I had to throw a guess out there, I would start looking at the heater blower motor. Bearings might be toast... or very unhappy bearings anyway

Try pulling the blower motor. About once every year or 2 I get a leaf or something down there that makes a TON of noise. It's like (3) screws under the passenger side footwell.

If no leaves or mice nests clogging things up then it might be the blower. Replaced mine over two years ago with one from eBay. Noise is gone and it works well!

This is the one I bought:
