I am in doubt about adding the Westcott 3/1 lift to my truck. I have a 2023 Tundra SR5 with the auto leveling rear air suspension and I have read some good experiences and some bad ones, specifically about how it modifies ride quality.

I enjoy how the truck rides right now but I would like to get a set of nicer (aka more aggressive) off-road looking tires on it. I live in the mountains, so we get a fair amount of the white stuff. I was told the Mickey Thompson Baja are pretty good on the snow.

What is the biggest size i can go to without doing any lift and without having to do any trimming?

Currently I have the 265/70/18 Yokohama Geolandar CV G058 on lower end stock Toyota wheels. I have a friend who is looking to sell his 18" Black Rhino Mission which look nice and I wanted to know which is the biggest tire I could pair with those.

    Thanks for your help!

people have fit 35x1250 with the right offset wheels. If you are using stock wheels, 285/75-18 would be the size, bit taller and thinner than 35x1250 and fit well on Tundras.

OP's is a 3rd gen. Is that accounted for in your recommendation?

Put 295/65 r20s on my platinum with the air suspension. not exactly apple to apples with your ride but hopefully helpful. only thing i did was pin back the felt behing the front wheels with some zip ties. not even sure it was needed though.

Yep, there are pics of 3rd gen, stock, running 35s and higher offset wheels in the 3rd gen threads. Tons of pics and info about setups there

I have spoken with my tire guy and he said we can safely do KO2s 275/70/18 without issues. He is down to mount one on and let me decide if i like the look or not.

I just dont want to get massively underwhelmed after spending the money…

Those fit 2nd gen stock, 3rd gen fits larger tires stock vs earlier gens. You will have no issues with 275/70. Lots of pics of 3rd gens with wheels/tires here on this site if you want to browse and see what they will look like.

I have a 22 limited with the rear air and I got 17x8.5 with a -10 and 35x10.50r17 no problems with them. You do have to remove the bracket that most people remove on the front wheels

We tried a 285/70r17 and I liked the way it looked:

I like it a lot, but I am still not sure if I would be regretting not doing the lift or trying somehow to fit proper 35s...

I have the ReadyLift 2” kit for rear air ride and it surprisingly rides comfortably, the price is right and it will open up more options for tires

Those 285’s look so good. Looking to do this at some point, tired of overly big tires killing power with weight. 285’s in a c load are 50 lbs.
