What should I ask for my truck?

I am thinking about jumping into a 2022, so I’m considering selling my 2008 5.7 4x4 Limited, Bilstein 5160/6112, 158k, maintained by Toyota, frame replaced in 2017 by Toyota, zero rust. Sequoia lights, TRD faux grill. OEM power folding tow mirrors, heated seats. Good condition with some normal wear and tear. I know what KBB and NADA say, but I’m curious as to the forum’s thoughts.

 

If you really want a new Tundra, I'd wait another year until the 2024s are rolling out.
There are way too many issues with the Gen 3s.
There isn't a day that goes by that someone doesn't start another thread with Gen 3 issues..

You've got a nice looking (PROBABLY PAID FOR) Gen 2..
I'd be very reluctant to get rid of it..............YMMV

It seriously is new underneath. I’ll snap some pics tomorrow. And yes truck has long been paid off and is still a head-turner. Think I just want something new. I should also mention the SAI was all replaced under warranty as well. Pics to follow

It’s a faux rock warrior. Never had the RW wheels. It’s a Limited 2008. Rock Warrior was introduced in 09’. I just liked the badging better than the TRD Off-road. OEM Limited wheels are long gone

Nice truck. What headlights are those. Just picked up a 2008 X-SP today and would love to put after market headlights on.

Watch Craigslist and FB for your local market. Trucks priced right will sell. Overpriced trucks won’t. Local/regional pricing matters. I’d sell mine for far more in my area than the Dakotas.

 

Paid 18k for mine last year. Limited Crew. Unfortunately with any custom vehicle you're going to have to find someone that's wants to pay for your custom touches, which can be hard over a stock truck. Albeit you have a nice looking truck. GLWS

 

I wouldn't sell it. There are some that have regretted getting rid of their 5.7.

Beautiful truck! Dont sell it yet.. i'd wait another year or two till the bugs are worked out on the 3gs.
