When ordering it with the truck, Is this installed from factory, or the dealership will have it installed when it gets delivered to them?

I did my after market with a brand called XPEL, Whole Front, door pockets, Tailgate and rear bumper. I dont trust Dealer installed. Get aftermarket from some one does does every day and cares about repeat biz. I had my 2018 Porsche turbo done my the Porsche dealer, and the quality of work is ok at best when it comes to seams and corners. , and the quality of qualified installer is night and day. I have 5 cars and all had it done. I hate rock chips.....lol

Mine was done at the dealer. Full hood and door cups. Not happy with the finished product and taking it back to dealer for re-work.:annoyed:

If in the OC Area, get it done from These Guys, Jesus is the man, Bill is the Owner. they have done my G63 AMG, C300, 4runner, 650 GrandCoupe, and fixed the dealer installed on my Panamera turbo. Latest is my Tundra

The oldest vehicle is 5 years and it is holding up like from day one, and saved me countless parking lot scuffs and even a parking lot rear ends!

I read on the XPEL website that one has to be sure to clean it from bird droppings and road dirt etc as it can get stained. Of course the paint/clear coat can also get stained. But with the ppf one has to be very careful with car washes as the brush can catch the edge of the ppf and start to peel it up, so I'm told.

Wondering what peoples experiences are with even a good ppf. Is it really worth the more than $1000 it will take to do the front end of a Tundra? Thoughts appreciated.

A good ppf job, edges are tucked and shouldn't get caught by brushes. Had the wife's car done last year and you can't even tell it's there.
