I agree FishN43. My schedule with work messing me up with this getting done. But it’s in stone now getting done last week of December when I’m off. Since also my headunit got screwed up also that’s getting done the same week. So 2 mods the same week. I will have to keep my fingers crossed this works out. Lol.

Yes- about 1.5” in the front and the +2 shackles will yield about 1.25”ish. Its not like crazy jacked up, but very noticeable and worth it in my opinion. The bigger tires will also add height and make it way more proportional looking. I’m 6’3” and have to use the steps to get in and out where I didn’t necessarily have to when it was stock.

Thanks I know you are. I have thick skin. Lol. I was planning on adding SCS ray 10 wheels but sold them before I even mounted them. Waiting patiently for the F5’s which I had on my 20 AG 4runner Pro. Don’t know how long I can wait. Looking at other wheels for now. I plan on mounting my 285’s instead of selling them. And then maybe put 295’s. That’s still up in the air. For now at least get the lift done.

Man does that look good! I like your steps and how streamlined and tucked to the body they are. It gives the illusion that your truck is sitting even higher. Are they Go Rhino?

If I wait to spring to add my wheels I might have my tire guy who is the owner maybe mount a 295 on a wheel and put my 285 just to see comparison on my 18x9 wheel F5’s.

Ok, so the full westcott kit? Cool. It looks good. I have a quote now for westcott in the front and readylift 2” blocks for back. Wondering if it’s “enough” lift. Hoping so. Yours looks good.

Thanks Matt. I think it’s plenty of lift. It’s very noticeable in person. I’m running 285/70/18’s if I go bigger it will be only to 295’s.

Just curious Matt, Why you putting 2 inch blocks in the rear? Instead of just using the westcott blocks.

That’s a great question. The westcott comes with a 1” block for rear, correct? I am trying to have a little rake which i was told with the 1” block i wouldn’t get.
That said, I know nothing about this stuff.

I understand what you are after. I did the same years ago with my 15 Tacoma sport. Lifted the front with bilsteins 5100’s did not touch the back but I was nose high. Had my mechanic add add a leaf to the rear and the stance looked so much better. I will give mine time and put some miles on it. I don’t haul anything but if the front starts to look nose high I will have my mechanic either switch out the blocks or add coachbuilder for the rear.

Thought I would add to help anyone out that is curious about Westcott as well.

I have setup on for 2 years and 38K miles. Light off-roading at hunt club and tow 4 wheeler regularly. Recently swapped Go Rhino RB20's for DSS Sliders. Had some small rubs here and there on front sway bar at full lock with KO2’s but not enough to draw concern. Been great thus far.

    Mods:
    Westcott Lift up front
    Coachbuilder +3 in the back
Go Rhino Dominator Rock Sliders Dominator DSS Sidesteps
    35 12.50 18 KO2's

And you kept your front mud flaps! Looks great! I wish I would have gone with true 35’s on mine. 295’s still look pretty good though.

Hey Mike, I’m thinking the same way with 35’s don’t know if I will. Stopped by today at my local tire shop I deal with. Speaking with the owner and if I want to would get me a 35x12:50 to mount on my SCS wheel to take home and see if it fits and clears with no issues. I told him it would not be till spring till I put them on. I just don’t know if I want that size on driving my truck seven days a week to work. Lol.

thanks. +3 in back? As in 3” lift in rear, right? Wow. I’d thought there would be more rake compared to the 1” block westcott offers and the +2 I regularly see from folks. Looks good tho. Glad to hear you like it. I’ve got to do something.

The +3 provides about 1.75” of lift. +2 is about 1.25”.

@FISHN43 - my buddy has 295’s Nitto AT3’s on his 21 pro and it looks pretty damn good IMO. I actually tried to fit 295 KM3’s on last month and it was not even close to fitting…LOL. (The KO2’s are not a true 35).

@ackthresher - It sits pretty level after settling down and driving it a bit. (Maybe a slight rake when first put on with +3 shackles). Here is a photo from about 6 months ago that shows how level. Pretty dead on IMO. No other issues aside from slight rub on front sway at full lock (as mentioned above). Otherwise- all good!

Looks good. Curious question. With the +3 shackles do you have the stock spare? And you have 295/70/18’s correct. I measured mine since it has the whole westcott lift. The front and back measure the same distance. But sometime when you look at it from the side the front looks nose high. Giving it some time to put some miles on it before I put +2 shackles on it.

@RusPro21 - I do have stock spare at this point. I am actually running 35 12.50 18 BFG TA KO2's. I have nearly 35K miles on the Westcott kit and I would say it settled a little in the front at about 20K miles, but I never took exact before measurements- so I can't tell you exact numbers. With the +3 CB shackles it seems to sit pretty good. Just my .02
