Hello all. My 2003 Tundra Access Cab showed up from Oregon to Wilmington North Carolina last Friday. I bought it from M&M Investment Cars in Gladstone Oregon after a 2+ year search, nationwide. It was hard to find, to say the least, as its a 4x4 V6 MANUAL!!! It has 135k miles and is in amazing shape having spent its whole life in Washington State... no rust except some surface rust in the bed.

The plan is to have new suspension, a Decked bed system, truck topper/camper shell and new head unit with back-up camera by mid-Aril so I can camp in it. Longer range plan is to add a few overlanding bits (canopy, water system) and potentially a supercharger, seventh injector, headers and new exhaust. Anyway, a couple of pics are attached. I am going to head over to the Build section to start a build thread and continue studying the wheel and tires post as it came with Falken Wildpeaks 185/75/16r that rub like hell.

    Welcome from CA (Central Alabama).

To buttress your choice of engine and transmission ----- my daily driver is 1997 T-100 4WD, 3.4 liter V6, with 3 pedals on the floor. 275,000 miles and it runs as good as the day I drove it off the dealer lot in 1997. Other than clutch and the radiator i have not replaced a single major item (yes that includes the water pump).

Thanks everyone. The hardest part these first days is not driving it because it is not registered and has no plates. NCDMV has been closed December 23-27, so I can't drive it legally until tomorrow, at the earliest. That said, a few neighborhood drives have been pretty sweet.
