i need to upgrade my shocks. I just installed a camper shell and customized the inside for camping... it added weight and i am looking for advice to offset the weight gain which is roughly 300 pounds...any advice would be greatly appreciated... thanks a bunch

    Too many mods to come

What do you currently have suspension wise? You may need an upgraded leaf pack

Coils and leaf springs control the weight and rode height of the vehicle, whilst shocks and struts control the ride quality and dynamics.

300lbs isn't too much for this truck though. Probably adding an add a leaf as well as a shock upgrade would be ideal.

Eibach Pro Truck Stage 2 suspension, HD RAS, 285/75-18 Nokian Outpost AT, LoPro bed cover, TRD rear sway bar, DD 10 inch exhaust, and various other goodies
Look into RAS for the rear. Cost is good, works excellent to help support the weak factory leafs, stop or reduce sag, and no negative impact on ride like a add a leaf. Activesuspension.com Get the HD kit, not the regular. It will lift the rear about an inch unloaded, but if you are a shell it should be good for about stock height back there.
