I need some sort of tool box below the folding OEM tonneau cover

    Thought of the BAK
    BAK INDUSTRIES BB2 00-21 TUN 92401

But they emailed me back saying it only works with there cover and not the OEM

    Any suggestions?

I have that box, love it for the functionality and how it folds up to give you the space if needed. Can you take some pics of your rails by the front? I can see if they are similar to the BakFlip I am using.

Not answering your question directly, but curious if this even works with the MX4 with the OEM rail attached below it? Diagram makes it appear it needs some space to clamp where that rail sits. Does your OEM cover have both the tonneau plate/rail and the OEM rail mounted below it?

ive been wanting something similar and was curious. Do you thing that storage unit would work if you used the same slot nuts as anchor points directly to the bed rail system.

Looks like you might be able to to anchor sections 1 and 2 (ind the pdf) to the bed rail system using the slot nuts. Only part that seems sketchy is the top lip of bracket in diag #2

    Just a thought !

    Lots of stuff!
I am not too sure if the Diamond back tool boxes will fit under the Bakflip but they are worth considering. they have all sorts of different sizes on their website. If they sit on the tie down rails, they might work with any cover.

The instructions they have above is pretty detailed as to how they attach. See pics of my install.
