    I put a dash try mounted solar panel / trickle battery charger on my 2013 F150 because it had a phantom voltage leak. It worked great and I never had a dead battery.

    I have a couple of trickle charge panels left over from a project I did back in the 90s. I mounted them on my shed and ran them to my riding mower. Worked for a few years before they gave out. I think I still have one big panel left that I never used.

    Apparently Cascadia is quite popular with loggers and construction workers in BC. That 90W comes in quite handy when operating out in the sticks. The solar panels they use are high efficiency rated so a bit more pricey.
