    Hello Fellow Tundra owners!

Finally got a 23 Tundra. Loving it!

I did try a quick search for the infotainment system, but couldn't find anything - I can't seem to scroll far down a Spotify playlist and wondered if there was something I was doing wrong? 14" screen so plenty of real estate. I can see my playlists fine, but if I choose one, I can't get more than x amount of songs (not many). I thought maybe it would take some time for the playlist to load, but even after waiting 10 minutes, I can't see more songs.

Just wondered if anyone else was having the same issues?

I haven't tried Apple Music so can't speak to that.

    Cheers,
    Johan

Every rental car I've ever been in with Carplay has behaved the same way for playlists and phone contact lists. Not sure what the solution is.

When youre driving, they limit amount of songs you can view, if the car comes to a stop, you can scroll all the way down.

Doh! That that would explain why sometimes I see all my playlist and sometimes only a dozen songs or so. Could never figure out why. Probably was just when stopped. Thanks!!

It’s a Spotify limitation. Not sure if it’s just iPhone or also android

Hate this limiting but it’s a safety features to not get distracted when driving.

    Imo this makes it worse.

    Hypothetically
    - use the touchscreen to select playlist and find a song
    - eyes still facing generally forward
    - mad because song isn’t listed
    - pick up phone and start scrolling through Spotify on phone to find it.
    - facing down, to the right.
    - bad things happen

Or just hit the microphone and say "Spotify play Death Metal Banjo playlist" or "Spotify play Let It Go from Frozen"

Android Auto lets you scroll through the entire list in Spotify but will blank the screen with a message and countdown timer after about three pages.

My 2020 does the same. But my other cars let me scroll the entire list. Must be a Toyota thing. So annoying.

Spotify for safety reasons only allows you to scroll for like 10 songs while the vehicle is moving. But when you come to a stop light or are parked the full list with populate. I figured this out a couple months back. A couple other apps do the same. Dont Scroll and Drive lol.
