Any reason I've been seeing a lot of people setting it at 1.9" instead of 2.5"? Better ride quality?

I was more concerned for the cv angle than ride quality, my goal was to be able to properly fit 35s with minimum lift, so I can retain my stock uca and factory alignment spec.

If you're serious about the 6112/5160, this is a good deal on front and rear with aftermarket UCA, also nice considering they're very hard to find right now

I'm running 6112s currently, I've ran 5100s and Eibach Stage 1 coilovers, the 6112s ride like a cloud in my opinion, but my sway bar is also gone. Yes you can run 35s, are you looking to level the truck? lift it? etc etc

I've seen that deal but currently short on funds due to the Holidays so I'll have to wait until closer to summer. I've heard that leveling is the cheap way out and may not be as good compared to lifting. I plan to lift it 2-3", only reason is because I want the lifted look and the bigger all terrain tire :) This will still be my daily (would like stock ride quality or better) and will see little to no off roading so I don't personally see a reason to spend $$$ on the higher end lift kits.

It looks like I may end up going the Bilstein route but just wondering if there are anything else good within the same price range as I have a couple months to do research (also, I have very little knowledge so it's always easier to ask around in forums).

I'd go the 6112 route if I were you (they can level and lift), but you'll need to pickup an aftermarket UCA, otherwise you're alignment spec could be off or the UCA can come into contact with the coil at full droop.
I'd pickup some Coachbuilder Shims here, as they'll eliminate driverside lean to the battery, gas tank, and driver all on one side. (2 driver side, 1 passenger side)

For reference, I was running about 2.5-2.75" of lift with a 1.5" wheel spacer and 35x12.5R18 tires with no rubbing nor cutting

Of course, if you can do the work yourself, you'll save tons of money, including assembling the coilovers yourself as well, installing both front and rear is relatively easy

TRD Pro Fox's are an option as well. I have them on my 2018 Platinum and they have been great so far. About 5k on them. Using a half inch shim for a total of 2.5 inches of lift in the front. Stock UCA's and no issues at all aligning it.
