    I wouldn't count on it. Or at least not on a Tundra.

    If the bushings have zerks, then don't count on it, fresh grease must push the old out, something the tape would deny or make very hard.
    If the bushings are low tolerance (need a few whacks to install or a press) then the tape would not go in along with he bushings/sleeve. I don't see this method working on leaf springs or LCA's.
    Perhaps hand pressed bushings like the ones in the video are ok, though I dont see the tape surviving very long... if any.
