    Hello!

Problem: I have an audible rumble at 10-20 mph. Once I exceed 20 it is not very noticeable. The sensation/sound can be heard on acceleration and deceleration. Deceleration seems to exaggerate it. This can be heard in 2WD and 4H. Noise does not change on turns. The noise seems to be isolated to driver side front tire.

Modifications: 2.5" Eibach Pro Truck 2.0 level in the front and rear shocks in back. I also had the ECGS Bushing installed and the nosie did not change. Installed Level 8 MK6s wrapped in Toyo AT3 295/70/18. Added new front bumper stops as well.

Diagnosis: I have rotated the tires and the sound is still there. Installed ECGS Bushing, checked the wheel bearing by doing the 12 and 6 test. No noticable wobble.

I'm sort of at a loss. I've tried to capture this on video but it is not super audible. Any help or tips would be appreciated. Not sure where to troubleshoot now.

Have you tried rotating your tires to see if anything changes?

I have a similar sound, seemingly from my LF suspension area. Almost sounds as if the 4wd is engaged. I switched the 4HI today, at about 10mph, for about 100yrds, then back to 2wd. It seems to stopped the noise, although I may be hearing what I want to hear…. This is the 2nd time in the last week this has happened, and I did the same 4wd cycle, with like results.
I wonder what the symptoms are of a faulty transfer case solenoid/servo? Could it be failing, and engage on its own?. What else could it be?
