    Hi Tundra brothers and sisters:
I have just swapped out steering wheels due to an airbag deployment. The parts truck that I got the replacement steering wheel from had radio controls, and my truck did not. My question is do you think it will make any difference if I hook up the plug in's for the stereo controls. Or will it cause any issues?
See the pictures below. My original OEM steering wheel only had one plug into the clockspring at the top (see red arrow), however, the new steering wheel has 2 plug ins due to the radio controls, etc on the new wheel(see green arrow) . I ended up plugging both in because the ground wire on the new wheel is incorporated into the 2nd plug, so I kinda HAD to plug it in.
But wondering if anyone knows/thinks it will cause any problems since my truck did not have these controls originally.
    Thanks for your input!....George

It won't cause any issues. Don't worry about it. The wires dead end on the other side if not plugged in to the stereo.

You should looked at the write-ups and ran the extra wires to make the buttons functional!
Also should have upgraded to the newer wheel since you needed a new airbag anyway.
