So my 2022 platinum has terrible wind noise. I guess I got the version car and driver got. I read several posts from various people that made me think that maybe there was a fix. Well after a full day in the shop they stuck adhesive backed foam behind the weather stripping and where the weather stripping attaches its now torn. To make matters worse it still has wind noise. They used the same foam on my camera that fell out of my mirror. I'll post that on a separate thread.

I have a terrible wind noise as well. Mine seems to be coming from the driver side mirror. Happens at about 50 mph give or take based on winds.

Search this forum for the troubles you have. Many owners have complained about it.

I probably have wind noise too.. but coming from Jeeps all my life i guess its nothing compared to the wind noise in the wrangler. So i consider myself spoiled as is lol. The tundra is as aerodynamic as a brick so I figure it's gonna have noise. I'm really curious to see how quiet these Tundras are actually expected to be. Hope you find a fix.

The only time I have wind noise is when I’m running into a strong cross wind…at any other time it’s barely noticeable. When I can drive with my radio set to 7 or 8 and still be able to sing along then I know my car/truck is quiet.

Interesting test, gotta try that one .....minus the actual singing part. I read all these complaints about wind noise and wonder if I ignore it or don't have it, lol. I'm getting paranoid of problem as my list keeps growing.

Follow up a few days after the above post....I can hear my radio fairly well on 7 traveling at 65. It's not at a comfortable listening level, but I can hear what's being said.

Following. Have a new platinum with similar.

Just took a trip to mt Rushmore with the in-laws. The signs in wyoming said 40+ mph winds (felt like 100mph). My wife and I couldn’t even talk to each other at a normal level on the Highway. Insane. On regular highways, it’s just slightly annoying…

Seems like it comes from driver side mirror, but can’t feel any air or anything coming through. Does seem worse with crosswinds than headwinds.

My Limited has wind noise at highway speeds when there is a strong crosswind. Nothing too crazy though. Other than that the truck is exceptionally quiet.

I usually have the radio on 40+ so I cant hear the wind anyway.

Just picked up new Super Sonic Red Platinum, driving it home from the dealer and I was amazed at the wind noise coming from the driver side window area once I got out on the open road. Very disappointed in the aspect of the new ride, for 70k seems like some of us are going to get stuck doing R&D for the new Tundra.
I have a 21 Armada Platinum also and it is whisper quiet in the cabin, I hope Toyota is able to figure this out sooner than later!!!

Just took delivery of a 2023 SR crewmax. That is the cheapest model I needed to save money so I wanted the basic SR. They are hard to find in Oklahoma. Dealer located one in Texas. To secure it I purchased it unseen. My wife drove it home from the dealer, It will be her's for the next couple of years. I was frustrated when I got home and jumped in to drive it around. It had over 200 miles and I was told it had 6 when I purchased it two days before delivery. But that is a different issue.

The reason I got on the forum was all the wind noise from the driver's side door. It does sound like it is coming from around the mirror area.
I wasn't sure if it was because I got the least expensive trim level. After reading some posts, l see it plagues several models. I assume it must be an issue with the double cab as well.

This might be contributing to the wind noise that’s just started on mine…1A448CD8-BDE2-4DDE-B985-8309958E89B2.jpg
