I'm purchasing a new set of wheels and tires for my 23 Tundra. Did you guys purchase a new set of TPMS sensors? And if so, where they OEM or third party? I'm planning to sell the original wheels that came with my truck.

I didn't. Discount just moved my sensors over to new wheels and put standard valves on my old set so I could sell them.

I bought new winters without the tpms sensor but nice to have for the rest of the year . There are aftermarkets just dont know if they are as reliable as the Toyota .

My Highlander sensor still work on my 2015 highlander with 168000 miles so that says something.

Like mentioned above Discount Tire swapped mine over to the new wheels. I am sure they would have done it anyway but I specifically stated I wasn't paying for aftermarkets when my OEM ones only had 500 miles on them at the time.

I just bought new rubber stems from Toyota and swapped the sensors over. The sensor unscrews from the rubber stem now not one piece anymore. Left the original stems in oem wheels so sensors can be swapped back easily. Much easier than trying to remove the rubber stem to reuse in new wheel.
