Came across one of these today cheap. Like almost free ….
Wondering if anyone has used one. Can’t seem to find many reviews on it.
Plus or minus … there is a lot of people that say no to changing out the factory filter due to the cost and gains. But given the low cost … how’s it look ?

for $350, your money would be better spent elsewhere.

Garbage . . . won't do a thing except change the intake sound and not filter air as good the factory setup.
But you can look forward to cleaning it more often, so there's that.

Nothing worthwhile sells that cheap. Alternately, nothing good sells that cheap.

You'll probably note a throatier sound after install, possibly just a slight suck noise when you jump on the gas. Some people claim feeling of better low-end power'. Those who're being honest, report more buildup in the intake (dust, dirt). But dyno charts don't lie, maybe this one you got is somehow different, but if the big names don't support a marked improvement, I don't need extra buildup and less filtration for a slight sucking noise or throatiness. I can get that whether the engine is running or not.

It'll definitely declutter the engine bay a bit, add some bling. Cool looks don't do much good if it leads to a CEL.

Turns out the guy ordered it for a customer. The customer never came. It sat for a year or more and then I showed up. Also came w a set of EBC brake pads

Well my first impressions are it’s well made. I needed new hoses so the fact it came with them is nice on its own.
It comes with a RAM air kit but I think I will pass on that for now.
I got it together. Will try and install tomorrow. It also has a heat shield.

    Got it in…
What I like. It works. Cleans up the bay
    Came with new vacuum lines.
I paid next to nothing for it

    what I don’t like
The vacuum line outputs from the intake are not the correct size. Well some are but it needs 2 smalls for the power steering and I think fuel pressure regulator.
a medium and large. Well it has one small. 2 large and one medium. Hope that makes sense. So I had to vacuume plug one and T another. Not a big deal but it’s suppose to be for this truck ? Maybe mine has the wrong options.

The fit for the mounting bracket is tite but it works. Took some working and slight bending to make it happen … but not a real issue.

My main issue is with the Mass Air Sensor.
The factory screws do not fit. To small. Needs bigger ones. No big deal prob. it also does not seat right. Goes in the hole well enough to work but to be snug in there it may need me to fab up a small gasket.

Here is some photos for the next guy.

Maybe it's for a later year? Like '05-'06?

From a flow perspective, if that's a right angle at the throttle body, that's counterproductive for smooth airflow.

It looks nice though, definitely cleans up a bit.

The part number on the box shows this model. In the picture from the ad they mounted the filter on the wrong side.
    So far seems good.
