I recently had the battery disconnected while working on the drivers door latch and door lock. I filled up today and only showed 125 miles on my trip meters. I did that mileage yesterday but I should have clocked about 300 miles since the last fill up. Do those meters forget or reset when DC current is removed. I don't remember it ever happening in the past, but other than battery changes I've never disconnected it before. I've not needed to, because it's been so reliable until my latch wore out recently and started not to release properly.

Thanks for confirming, before I realized the 125 miles was what I'd done yesterday, I panicked, that worked out to 7 miles per gallon. :( instead of my usual 14-16 MPG.
