The plan is still happening. Dates are 12/13-12/15. I'll send more info on meeting time and location once we have it dialed. We will start in Laughlin the morning of 12/13.

    Ok gang here we go.

We hit the Mojave road trail yesterday. Started from Laughlin and once we aired down it and went off it was about 8am. The weather was perfect no wind and luckily for us it rained a little the day before so literally minimal dust. Our original plan was to camp 2 nights depending on how far we made it each day. By the time we stopped for breakfast we looked to be behind schedule.

Then the hammer went down and on our next stop for lunch the parents said "we wonder if we could do this in one day". So I led the charge after lunch and we were smoking through areas making up time. The trail was clear but with some really heavy washboard sections. We hit those at first doing 20mph but it seemed much better at 35mph or faster if possible. The desert sand section had awesome burms and thats where we made up a ton of time. I saw 60+ and the parents weren't too far behind in their fully loaded rig. The whoops are massive def took those easier.

Snow was present in the upper elevations but not too much yet. The lake bed where the rock stack was very muddy so beware and stay in the dry lane. Afton canyon didnt have too much water but both water crossings were not as deep as many vids show. At least this time around so beware of that too. I've got tons of pics and vids I'll load up as I have time. Next stop is dropping the truck off in phx so I dont need to drive back and forth then baja second week of Jan!

I’ve got some sunset footage of a quicker pace but I’ll have to upload later.

You’ll enjoy the run. Some spots you’ll need to be in 4x4
