2022 Tundra Volume Loss

Anyone with 2022 Tundra have their volume stop working on the infotainment system? On my way to work yesterday and the sound cut out. Everything is still working but can’t hear anything and the indicator that pops up when you adjust volume is gone as well. I have an appointment at the dealer to take a look on Monday.

 

I haven't seen that issue pop up on the 22 here yet. I think. It's under warranty but stills sucks.

 

Try to reset your stereo by holding/pressing down the volume button until the system resets - essentially, hold the button down until the Toyota icon reappears (Similar to apple phone)

 

I have tried the reset it doesn’t help.

 

Not quite the same but I've had the audio from Android Auto appear to be working and stop outputting sound. If you pause the music or podcast and then restart it it normally picks back up.

My truck sits for a few days this happens. Only way to fix it is to hold power button and reset the radio/infotainment system. Really Antony but I see a software update in the near future.

Dealership says I need a new amp. Telling me 10 days until they will have the new amp. I will update once the new amp is installed.

 

Had new amp installed yesterday and volume is working again.

 

Curious, does your truck have the upgraded sound system? Do all the 3rd gen sound systems have external amps?

 

I don’t know for sure if all packages have external amps, mine does and it is located under the drivers seat.

 

Need the upgrade JBL to have the external amp.

 

Does the 14 inch infotainment system mean it has the jbl system, or are they separate options?

 

Mine does this quite frequently. I have to force close Spotify on my phone. Once I reopen it the sound comes back

Been a great band from the beginning to current. Hard to say about music nowadays. Enjoy
