a few weeks ago I disconnected by battery to install new terminals. since then ( I think, or around that time) i have been having a new/odd behaviour. when I lock the doors via the fob the doors lock, but i no longer get a beep. also, if i hit it twice I get no beep and the headlights do not turn off like they did before. When I use the fob to unlock the truck all seems normal, and I get the beep. If the truck gets locked with the fob and i let it sit for 15 seconds the headlights go out like normal.
my questions are thus: Are the lock and unlock settings in the ECU independent? Can you have beep on unlock and not lock? I suspect maybe something got scrambled when i reset the battery. if they are not independent, any idea what would cause the change in lock behaviour?
    thanks.

Just shooting from the hip here but I think those are all settings that can be changed or modified with Techstream. Maybe your truck forgot some pervious setttings

I think those were options to adjust when I changed some stuff with my Carista. Maybe checkout getting that if you can’t get Techstream or dealer to set them. I think it was like $50 for it

Check the build link in my signature.
Those settings are in Techstream, but shouldn’t reset from pulling the battery.

Either dealer can do it, or Carista, or a $60-80 cable from scamazon with bootleg TS. Or, as Brandon said, if you’re ever down this way.

ok, I dig out my TS cable and see if I can find a copy to use for Win10. Last time I used it it required Win98 and it was a pita. still weird that it zapped some of my settings. thanks folks.
