So I was backing out the driveway, bent the mirror assembly back, and the mirror popped out. and I cannot get mirror back on.

I cannot see anything that was snapped off. Can anyone tell this idiot, how to "pop" it back on do i need to purchase a whole new side mirror?

Any advise would be greatly appreciated. (this is for a 2018 Limited, passenger side.)

    Thanks,
    Ian

I center it, and push firmly and it just does not hold in place. I was expecting to hear a click sound or something.

Looks about the same as out Tahoe mirror. It takes some real pressure to snap it back in. Just make sure all the hooks are properly lined up.

Thanks for the video, it shows how to remove it. That has already been done when i backed into a large bush. :(

From what I can tell. I need to remove the round assembly, by "twisting" the clips with the plus symbols. Anyone has any luck in removing one of these? This is the main thing i need to remove. as it will just click back on the to motor assembly piece and I can slide the mirror back on.

Sorry for all the questions, i am total noob. Any would appreciate any help.

I was able to fix the mirror. so the trick for me was to push up on the round mount ring, and slidea flat head screw driver under each tab and it popper right out. then i was able to take the mounting rings and reattach it to the motor assembly (2nd picture from first post). then just slide the mirror back in to the bracket, take a little wiggling. but got there in the end.

    Thanks for everyone's responses :)
