Damn USPS and making me list my address on the last package I’m about to send. Couldn’t drop ship it so oh well.

 

i got stuck doing that once one year. they refused to send it anonymously, through a "santa claus or secret santa" name. UPS has allowed me to do it for a couple years now, so i've doing it through them.

 

I’ve also used friend’s addresses and bought the label myself through sites like pirateship.com

I’m guessing he saw my beat up Toyomafia Dad Hat in the video yesterday and figured I needed to start rotating through them because I got TWO new ones!
The chocolate nailed it. Good high cocao single origin bar. A small square is all you need at once.
It’s a given we all need oil filters (and I’m about 1k away from my next change, so good timing).
I may have to experiment with tint on the TBL cover - I haven’t seen them in clear before.


And, funny story. So the address I gave was my work address, because it’s the easiest to be sure someone is there to sign for packages. SS sent the box addressed to “RAIN MAN PNW” because the messages that went out didn’t include real names. Our secretary was like “Who the hell is Rain Man?” and thought the “PNW” might be for a different business. It was shipped from a UPS store, so no “real” return address, so she opened the box (just to check) and found an invoice in the box with SS name and number on it and called to find out what it was for/about.

BUT, she also was smart enough to confirm that SS didn’t want that particular document in the box when she handed it to me! And she’s not giving up the secret. So I’m stuck trying to think who’s in _____, NJ…


Then, I take a quick look back through the raffle donations list (I promise I’m not selling anyone’s addresses), and there just happens to be a member from that exact town.

@Piki - if you are my Secret Santa, thank you! I seriously wouldn’t have guessed it if it weren’t for the events of this past week.

I’ve already got the bill shaped on the black hat, and am going to finally get the old one washed this week.
