I've watched several videos and have reviewed many images of the pigtails that are plugged into the clockspring.
My cruise stopped working and I found the parts on ebay for relatively inexpensive. I replaced the cc lever and also purchased a clockspring for about 35.

The install seemed to go well on both parts but the cc is still not working.

I have been watching several you tube and tundras.com videos and notice that there are two pigtails being plugged into the clockspring. I can only find one going to the cc. The larger one that seems to be installed between the airbag wires and the cc pigtail is not there.

I did not take a picture of the steering wheel before I pulled it off and can't seem to remember if I even had the larger pigtail.

Does anyone have a picture of the steering wheel and the origin of the pigtail? Or can confirm that I am just going crazy and the second pigtail wasn't there?

The larger one is for steering wheel radio controls which you might not have.

If you don’t the horn is on the smaller one also. If the horn is working your clockspring is probably good. The cruise control wire is the blue one.

Sometimes cruise won’t work if you have trouble codes in the engine ECM. The ECM has to store the cruise set speed value and issues with traction control/ wheel speed sensors can create problems with it working.

I would test to see if the horn is working then scan for trouble codes in the ECUs. Go from there. Could also be a power issue or bad fuse somewhere.

Thank you so much. The horn is working so I will need to run a scan for trouble codes. I do not have steering wheel controls.
