So my SR5 didn't come with any lighting for the floor area. When I open the car door, the interior is impossible to see anything at night. I bought an LED kit to add some lighting, has anyone installed some aftermarket lighting? Where did you tap for power?
I want the lights to come on when I open the door or unlock the truck, and stay on as long as I am driving as well. Looking for some help figuring out how to wire it

You could tap it to a fuse which is located on the passenger side.

Anyone can weigh in on this? I know I can tap a fuse, the question is what fuse would give me the functionality that I am looking for. I want it to function how most interior lights these days function. They come on when you either unlock the car, or open the door, and stay on until you either lock the car or it goes to "sleep" (interior lights and headlights turn off if the car turned off and inactive).

You have a labeled DOME fuse?

Use a power probe, test those fuses (ACC on & off) look for one that has power when car is on and power off when car is off. This what I did with my dashcam and many other lights mod I’ve done to my 23 limited. You get faster answer with doing it yourself being honest.
