Genuinely curious if anyone here has and what their initial thoughts are.

I have a 21 pro in LR and have been getting a slight itch. However I have no interest in playing the games in the current new truck market.

    What’s driving the itch?

not 100% on what you have? Just want / like the new ones?

Had a 2020 raptor prior, so really just wanting something with some more modern amenities. I do like the truck though and still think it looks fantastic.

tbh I’m not 1000% on the new tundra though, just something I’m pondering.

Check the build link in my signature.
    Not even interested
The few things I wish it had has when I bought it, I added (BSM, Power fold mirrors, front camera)
Too many things I’m seeing and hearing about the new ones have me not even considering it

Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
If you are patient and wait the market will come down significantly. Dealerships usually rent/lease property to handle overflow they are buying up land for overflow. This indicates they are anticipating holding on to overflow vehicles long term.

I’d love to know how you went about adding BSM and the cost!

I do think the new car market will slow down eventually. But I think the new truck market will take even longer to slow down. At the soonest I’d say like November of next year.

I think it’s going to take quite a while for the Pro’s to get one at msrp. All these greedy dealerships are marking them up so much and it don’t matter how long they sit on the lot. They know someone will pay the 20,000 mark up on the tundra Pro. Not me.

I just can't get into the look of the new Tundra. I feel like it's a downgrade.

I also wouldn't trust the first year of a new gen. Don't think I'd want the second year either.

It is certainly a downgrade in looks for me on the 2022 tundras. The front end is ugly with the oversize grill. I never seen the interior on the 2022 tundras but I bet it is most certainly an upgrade from the 2021 and down. Our gen. of tundras interior are made with cheap easy to scratch plastics (only thing I can't stand about our gen. of tundras).

That would be trading down. Bells and whistles don't make a reliable truck. Everyone knows turbos only make power at a higher rpm, who needs that over reliability. And they are not pleasing to the eye. My 2 cents.

They(22+ Tundra) make peak torque at 2400rpm. The 5.7 peaks at 3600.

The difference in power down low is huge.

Whether or not it proves to hold up…we’ll see, but the 22+ puts an ass whoopin’ on the previous gens in the power department.

So when it gets spooled up to 5k+ no more power? That won't last.
