Hey all. I picked up some 2022 18” Tundra take off rims for my dedicated set of snow tires for my platinum and wrapped them in Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT3s (265/70r18 to keep the stock tire size and to keep it thinner). These are load E tires and I have never had an E tire before.

The door sticker says 35psi for the 265/60r20 which are also a P rated tire. The sidewall of the Nokian says up to 80psi. The tire shop also inflated them to 35psi.

My question is what do I inflate them to for best performance? Ride quality (bumpiness and noise) is secondary to me when driving in the snow and ice, so best winter handling is my goal.
    Thanks!

Always follow the door for tire inflation specs.

I also have E rated winters, they do ride a little harsher but that’s expected.

    looks good

Tire pressure will be different when switching to tires with different load ratings.
Here is a pretty useful calculator:
    https://tirecalculator.com/tire-pressure-calculator

I ran your setup and its calling for 45psi which sounds about right. I would run ~42psi as the load capacities don't always completely match up and your gaining a little running the E's at 45psi.
