35x12.5x20 toyo MT mounted on factory 20in toyota wheel in the spare tire location with no trimming on my 22 hybrid. It’s close to the panhard bar (dobinsons) and almost touched the trailer hitch, but clears just fine.

Never mind, it’s too tight. Going to chop the mounts this weekend and hope that leveling the tire out more buys me 1/4-1/2 and inch

Dang. GL. Hope I don't run into issues stuffing a 315/70-17 under there.

I think part of my problem is this is a brand new toyo MT, so it’s a big big tire, if it was used a decent bit it would fit just fine as is.

Those treads do look worthy of a tractor.

I was under there today fitting my 315/70-17 spare. I'm about .5" away from rear track bar. Lowest point hangs about as low as rear axle. Definitely up against hitch but I don't care. Only concern is it hitting something if I get too rowdy. Going to ask the shop installing my lift next week what they think. Instead of chopping, I'm wondering if you could just hammer those brackets back a little more for room, but still have them there to stop the tire from hitting track bar.

the MT is about an inch wider and a little bit taller so that’s my issue. Also not sure if the hybrid is different out back than the regular

Somewhat related question: here in Idaho we run on a lot of gravel roads with a LOT of dust. What do you guys think of the ability to lower the spare tire after many miles of dusty road driving? Is there anything that can make it easier? thanks for your ideas.
