I received my 2022 Capstone about a month ago and yes I am an idiot for not noticing it was missing the rear air lift option. I did instruct the dealer to include every option but it was later explained they have no choice in the matter, must take what comes in, in this crazy post covid world…

I would like to put this option on the truck post delivery, any ideas? And please keep the wise remarks to yourself, I’ve already beat myself up. Would be great to add the Toyota option set up.

I don't know how smooth the factory ones are but I have airlift on my 2019.

Thank you for the response. I believe then issue is the suspension for 2022 is different and the Capstone has a dial a ride, sport, eco and normal. I’m not sure if this would create conflict with installing an aftermarket set up.

This is good stuff, Ill research it. The most important thing to me is being able to carry a supply of tools in the back of the truck while pulling my car or motorcycle trailer… three bikes in the trailer add a bunch of weight to the tail of the truck and not an easy way to balance it.

Air lift works good for me but its is not smooth by any means. I don't remember how it felt before but it is bumpy in the rear.

I have the manual fill but debating if I should get the compressor sooner or later.
