I have searched the interwebs and reached the end with no luck. Recently traded my 15 TRD Pro in on a 19 TRD Pro. Love everything about this truck except for the glare that comes off the hood scoop in the sun (its artic white.) I could have sworn somebody made a vinyl sticker that just covered the top of the scoop and helped reduce the glare but I can't find it. My other option is to take it to a wrap shop and have them to the scoop in flat black. Anyone know of a vendor who sells them?

Want to just trade hoods? My white Tundra doesn't have it, and it doesn't actually have a function beyond aesthetics. I did have plans to install one with some custom lights in it eventually.

Thanks for the offer but no. I actually like it and am planning on doing the same as you. Plus my wife is short and can't see over it so that means she won't drive my truck :D

I don't know of anyone who makes the decal. I wrapped mine in flat black.

Paint protection film would be a way to go to keep it from being overly shiny, too.

To be fair she is the one who hunted this one down and found it. I wasn't even looking to upgrade. So she loves the truck. But for some reason she just does not like driving it. Which is fine. She could in a jam.

I saw that when I was doing my search and I dig it. I can turn wrenches just fine but wrapping my own scoop is too much like wrapping a Christmas gift. And I always end up with one end not having enough paper to cover the box.

Well if aren't doing it yourself self I recommend removing it yourself and bringing it somewhere. You will get better coverage on the edges and don't have to worry about any scratches.

I have a few good auto wrap places in the area. I am probably going to give one of them a call. The front windows need tinted too so mine as well do it all at once.

At the onset what I was really looking for was a piece just to cover the flat portion on top and leave the sides and front white. That I can handle with soapy water and squeegee. Once you get to those curvy parts I get all ham fisted. Like a 14 year old boy trying to undo his first bra clasp.
