Got an 02 AC with the bucket seats

Got two dogs, a bit tight for the both of them. Was wondering if anyone built a platform that can go over the center console, and stay level with the seats. So he’s got a spot in the truck.

my plan is to just get some thick plywood, and cut some rounded pieces for the little humps on the floor. Drill those pieces together. Add a tough carpet materiel and hinges for having access to the center console

I have a suitcase that fits perfect in the floorboard, and i spread a moving blanket over the seat bottom and suitcase for my dog to lay on.

In my last truck, I built a platform from MDF that was level with the seat, and then a piece of carpet on the MDF, and covered the seat and platform with a moving blanket. Sadly Willie has gone to doggy heaven now.

I would never recommend having dogs riding in the front seat. You slam on the brakes and your dog is now a fur missile. Get in a wreck and it could be worse. I know a girl who's cat died in a wreck. She had it in the front seat.

Very true. If my dog is riding with me i wont slam on the brakes, skinny pedal through whatever makes the mistake of getting in my way.

The platform was for me, I let Willie do the driving.
