My tundra 4x4 came with Michelin LTX A/T P275 65 R18 they have 35k on them and are shot.

I don't do any off road or anything strictly pavement but still want all seasons, i was just going to buy the same tires but wanted suggestions?

I just bought this truck it's all stock.

I love how the truck handles and rides when compared to my old late 90s tacoma.

In the past i have had BFG all terrain on my tacoma and hated them in the rain the truck would not stick to the road, i kept my tacoma for bad weather and have been using duratracs only complaint is gravel likes to stick in them and come flying out.

    Thanks for the help!

    No off road
Then go with Michelin Defenders in factory size.
Hands down the greatest Truck/SUV all road/highway tire.

Ditto on the Michelin Defender. Best tire Michelin makes for trucks/suvs, great on road, wet, snow, sand, actually OK off road except for mud, smooth ride, excellent wear and mileage warranty, balance well. They look tame but perform well.

I'm in the same boat of wanting to replace my very-meh LTX AT/2’s. On my little CRV I ran Michelin Defenders and I'm very tempted to go back, my Tundra is definitely a road queen intended to distance-haul trailers and motorcycles with little to no off-roading.

I put a set of Toyo Open Country ATIII on my Highlander and while they were fantastic at everything grip-wise, they were absurdly loud on the highway. I didn't keep the Highlander long enough to find out if they were going to meet their 60k treadlife or not. If I were going to have two set of tires and wheels though - I'd go Defenders in the summer and the Open Country ATIII in the winters and for any time I might go somewhere with backroads.

I just went with Michelin Defenders and the ride is so much quieter and smoother than then AT tires I replaced.

Cooper fan here. Have them on all trucks except the 21 which is still on the originals. Bridgestone I think

The Michelin Defenders do look tame but i do have them on my CRV never really thought about them for my truck. The CRV is on its second set i bought them because they seem to last the longest.

Why are the Michelin Defenders cheaper than the OEM tire?

    Thanks for the suggestions!
