Rock Sliders for Crewmax with 6.5' Bed

I am looking for rock sliders for a Crewmax with a 6.5' bed but they don't seem to exist. It's mostly for a step for the kids. Something like the below from C4.

Any ideas if these exist or may in the future for a CM 6.5' bed?

What is the difference with the crewmax models as far as the cab? Sure the box is longer. The sliders don't touch the box. Is the goal to add another foot to protect the box extension before the fender? Perhaps this why nothing has come to market yet. I would think that we could use the ones on the market now but not have full protection that the sliders are supposed to provide.
