Trucks up for an inspection in december.
Per maine rules leaking shocks are a failable issue. (Seepage is okay).

My 6112 front shock is leaking on the passenger side. The drivers side doesn.t leak, however dust seal is sitting up proud and has been for at least a year and a half.

So its time to replace at 40k miles about 15 off road (probably less). Not 15k, 15 miles.

I bought these as an open box ebay purchase back in 2016 for :$470 for the kit shipped.

Anyway, i tried to source new shocks (not assembly because i don.t need the parts just the shock)
Local shop tried to obtain them, without any luck.

So. Thankfully excel suspension out of southern cali listed them as available.

I online chatted with them and they responded quickly and positively they can get the parts.

So 580 bucks shipped they are on the way.

I will report back when i get them in. I.m away from the truck next month so might be updated in Jan.
