What is recommended to get rid of scratches around the shifter? Just touching the shiny black plastic with your finger leaves marks.

Some people for 2.5gen have been clear semigloss painting them.

Might help with some small scuffs and finger prints, not sure how deep your existing scratches are?

They are not deep. You cannot feel them but can see them. I was looking for something to clean them up and then just throw a protector over it.
