Has anyone stored their Hybrid Tundra for an extended period? I normally install a permanent charger lead on the battery but this battery is 12' back from the hood where I normally connect my charger. I imagine with all the electronics on these trucks that the 12v battery is going to drain out pretty quickly.

Disconnect it and put it at the house?? I do not know if that is even possible on the newer truck?

Remove battery, keep it on the charger/tender and reinstall when you are ready to use the truck again.

Before you do, I would put something in the gas to treat the ethanol, run it for a bit to circulate. Today's ethanol gas absorbs water over time so a fuel treatment to handle that (and there are many) is worth the extra effort and the 10 bucks for the additive.
