Just installed a set that are listed as plug and play with bsm heat and remote adjust (not power fold). Now I get blind spot and rear crossing error message so had to turn both off. If it’s plug and play what did I do wrong. I did not hook up the running lights and rear spot light option.

Would help if you linked the mirrors you bought. Some more affordable mirrors off Amazon/eBay say plug and play but some of the wires are not pinned correctly. Normally after some trial and error folks have been ablento repin the mirrors to match the harness for the truck and then they work.
I would assume you have this issue but that is just a guess at this moment in time.

Got thes from eBay because I couldn’t find anywhere else selling for 2021. I can fiddle with the pins and tester The bsm is not that big of a deal because of the concave mirror but the rct is nice to have.

You might have to swap pin 9 and 18 on the truck side for it to work, thats what I had to do on mine but I didn't have an error message just the light not illuminating. So could be alittle more work to figure out exactly why you are getting the error code.

    See build link
Find the BSM wire in your main harness and check that it's corresponding to the appropriate wire in the aftermarket harness/terminal.

I have this issue with my Boost Auto mirrors on occasion. It's very random. Normally they work fine, but every 2-3 weeks I'll get this warning, and it resets and works properly after I shut off and restart the truck. I pulled the mirrors off of the truck for winter so I can avoid that warning and go back to the standard mirrors during winter, when I'm not towing.

Ugh, that's disappointing to hear because I have a set being delivered today for my 21' Platinum. That sort of thing would definitely drive me nuts. Have you reached out to Boost at all?

I have not reached out to them yet. I wanted first to be confident that it was a mirror issue and not some other BSM component, so I swapped back to my OEM ones to see if the warning reappears. It's been about 3 weeks now and I haven't had the warning pop up, but I want to give it a little more time before I indict the mirrors as the issue.

I wouldn't personally worry about it. I don't recall anyone else having this issue on here, so I might just be the (un)lucky one. :D It doesn't seem to be a systemic issue with these mirrors.
