Cabin wiring diagram

Hi guys I have a 2018 tundra crew max. I keep blow kick panel fuse box labeled dome. Checked all light bulbs but none were blown. Any suggestions? Will greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

 

Did you change your bulbs to LED? Any aftermarket accessories?

 

Do a through inspection of anything electrical on the truck to make sure everything else isn't working. It's common practice to lump totally different circuits in to one fuse. I think they do that to give the owner a quicker indication that something important isn't working. I.E., the brake lights might be tied to the dome light or radio or another circuit that the driver might notice quicker than seeing the brake lights aren't working.

 

No it still has all stock light bulbs

 

Welcome to the forum.

Pull the dome, vanity (visor), and map light bulbs and see if it still blows the fuse.

Did you do any new mods; alarms, remote start, etc?

Just alarm and sound system but years ago nothing has changed since and all suddenly it’s blowing the dome fuse it’s weird

 

Dome fuse on some Toyota stuff can run the radio as well. Pull that fuse and test everything you can think of and see what else that fuse effects. Climate controls, radio, windows, defrost ETC.

I'd also try turning off the interior lights on the dash switch and see if the fuse still blows.

 

Weird because thought about that so I pulled the fuse on the amps then tried to replace fuse and blow it. Days before I had pulled all the visor bulbs and rear view mirror push lights and the cabin light. Put in the fuse and it did not blow it. So I check the light bulbs and all of them were good. So like it didn’t blow the fuse and the light bulbs were good I put them back one by one and it didn’t blow the fuse until 6 days later.
