Got a quick reply this morning and it looks like SOS is going to see if they have spacer in stock to ship out!

First off, in my defense I've never used this style air bag before. Secondly I did ask SOS if the bags would inflate enough to fill the gap and didn't get an answer to that one before they sent the spacers.

Ok disclaimers done, I can be a fool sometimes lol. Apparently if I just lifted up on the uninflated airbag, it kinda unrolled a little from the bottom, more than enough to fill the gap without spacers. DOH!

Nice looking build you go going. I had a '19 the same color CM TRD Sport 4x4. Great truck. Fun to drive. Got a '22 now. Gonna slowly work on it. I see you have a supercharger to go on, bet it'll be a blast.

I’m curious how much down travel you’re losing with the bags? Like if your axle wants to fully extend on that side and pull on the bag? Be curious to measure before/after attaching the top while jackstands are supporting

Shouldn't be an issue really since the most downtravel it would see is if it hit a pothole. That I'll be avoiding if I can lol. But the bags are really just helpers to keep the rear of the bed from sagging under load. They shouldn't be inflated enough to lift the truck under normal conditions. Just enough to provide a little extra comfort

Also the rear shocks are shorter than stock so the stroke internally or whatever it's called does have more room to compress. If I had the stock rear shocks on they'd be bottoming out all the time already

Got the airbag lines all ran. Used factory openings in the frame rails. For the air inlet valve I used a factory hole in the body just above the trailer brake connections. Only had to Dremel out a little of the plastic for clearance. Will upgrade it with the Firestone air bag compressor kit w/in cab regulator buttons

I'll have to go get a digital gauge to read the pressure. It only needs like 5 psi for normal driving. I think it's 20 psi max? I'll need to double check the numbers. But my normal ones don't work that low. I can tell there is air in the bags compared to before. About to go for a test drive

I could tell a difference! Felt less jarring over the same bumps and potholes around. Not sure it did much for the bed bounce, but I'll have to wait until I get on the highway

Went red for the fuel pumps mounting bracket

Edit: hmm...that's supposed to be a.fuel FILTER mounting bracket. Think I'm gonna have to send that back. The filter shows up this weekend

A shot of my neglected 2005 E46 M3 Convertible SMG (SMG pump replaced 5k miles ago, and all SMG related service bulletins done). Originally equipped with every option available. Upgraded with custom sound system, Mishimoto electric (crankless) radiator puller fan, Mishimoto oil cooler. Upgraded CSL drilled rotors. Ebach front and rear .75" lowering/leveling springs with bilstien B6 struts/shocks. Apex Arc-8 18" wheels and Pilot Sport 4S tires (19" OEMs in storage) Everything else is basically stock because I got a stupid lifetime warranty with it when I bought it used. And it's covered, no lie, at least $8k in warranty covered repairs because I hand them a giant list every time it goes in and say, "Do whatever you can get covered and let me know on the rest.". The only thing it needs done is the rod bearings. Going into a local BMW speed shop for that this coming winter.

Ug I know I went too long between the suspension work and getting the alignment. It's amazing how much a difference it makes. Front suspension feels a lot better now!

Anything to be done about the caster? Or do things look good?

    Some self promotion incoming

I've been working as a Data center engineer/tech for the last 11 years. I was given notice from my company before Thanksgiving that they are terminating all US data centers, and my last day will be in September 2023. So I've decided to follow through with an idea I've been kicking around for years and creating my own business. Data Center Remote Hands LLC. I'm insured up to $1 million through Berkshire-hathaway. Just got my business cards in today. They're just a first batch and will redesign later. But I wanted to kinda spread the word a little.

Decided I'm going to keep the stock platinum front grill and forego the Pro. I like the blacked out look of the honeycomb grill, and I'd probably get better airflow to the intercooler with it.

I do want to get an illuminated Toyota symbol, like the Lexus and Merc's have. Will be researching that mod
