Hi all! I got a 2021 TRD Pro and I have been starting to pickup more advanced offroading/rock crawling out here in NC.

The ask - with some of the newer vehicles I see some amazing cameras showing the wheels edging against rocks.

I know there is a front facing camera I can go but has anyone put in something more advanced into the 2014-2021 gen? If so what did you use and how did it work with the stock head unit?

Seen a few people use trailer back up cameras and mount them on each side of the truck and use those, or Go pro's with phones and tablets

@Cruzer did have some additional cameras at one point, can't remember exactly how they were viewed. Pretty sure he will chime in shortly.

    I think “few” ≈ 3 +/-

    whereas “several” ≈ 7 +/-

So. I’d say Cruz has several cameras.

    I have “some” cameras :anonymous:

I have 16 cameras on my truck that I use with the stock head unit, an anytime camera system (like the FRAC or Beatsonic), and a custom made camera switcher. I’ll be making a Bluetooth version of my camera switcher so that I don’t have to run all 16 cables inside the cab.
