VSC/warning annoying popups

Good day,

When I disable VSC of Traction control on my Tundra, there is a warning coming up in the MID (multi information display). What is bothering me is that even if I "acknowledge" the warning, it will always pop pack on the display, which i find annoying since it will not allow any other information to show up on the display.

The same happens if I put the truck on 4H and select a MTS which disable one of those functions. I understand the warning, but once acknowledged, i shouldn't pop back up in my opinion. I think that the orange "warning" on the display should enough. Anybody found a way to change that, either via techstream or other way?

I completely agree and mine does the same. Super irritating, and no way to change it. Just have to hope Toyota releases an update to change it. TPMS warnings do the same and drove me nuts on this cold morning drive to work…

 

Its just super annoying that i am reminded every 5 seconds about a fonction that I deliberately turned off. It renders the MID useless. Considering that there is also a icon that lights up...

 

This has always been the case in the 2/2.5 gens as well and I don’t think there is a fix for even those years. I basically always drive with VSC/TC turned off, and it’s annoying to have that message on the info screen rather than other useful info. I doubt they will do anything to fix it though since they never addressed it in the prior years. Must be a liability thing.
