Hello all, i just took delivery today, of a 2014 1794. I’ve wanted a Tundra since they first came out, and almost as long as I’ve wanted a 4-Runner! In May of 2021 I decided to try a 2014 Ram. That was a bad idea. It was an endless money pit. Even though it was 7 years old when I bought it, the value managed to drop 50% over the last year and a half. The Tundra value has dropped 50% since it was BRAND NEW almost 9 years ago! The build quality is majorly different. The Ram was nice but unfortunately just not made well. I think I’m on the way to loving this truck like I do my 2008 Corolla. That’s a whole lot! Glad to be here!

Hate to tell you this - Your Tundra will also be a Money Pit once you start modding her. :spending:

True, but in a different sense of money pit.
One is you spend but never get it fixed right/breaks almost as soon as you get it back so it's back in the shop/lift/whatever it is
One is you spend and takes time to get it right but the result is grand and happiness, if done right.

Oh, and welcome from the land of where hell freezes over, never, but already did a few times anyway.....

@DrZoidberg i paid 25,500 for the 2014 Ram 1500 Crewcab 4x4 SLT BigHorn. Adding a bed cover was all I got to do “for fun”. The rest was all fixing small problems and annoyances.
I probably put at least $5k into it easily. Then traded it for my Tundra November 11, 2022. They gave me approximately 14k for it which is close to book trade in value. It had a small dent in the corner of the rear bumper. Otherwise it was very very clean. locally they were offering me 11,300 for that truck.
