Some before and after of my '06 SR5!

    -Rough Country 2.5" lift kit
    -G2 Forged Aluminum 1.25" spacers.
-TRD Pro grille from TEQ Customs.
    -Black aftermarket side mirrors
-Blacked out emblems and front chrome molding....

    Super happy with it!

A modern take on a classic. And before you heathens say anything -- yes, I replaced the lower ball joints after installing the wheel spacers with none other than OE parts straight from the Toyota dealer.

Thank you. I actually sold my 2013 Tacoma PreRunner Access Cab w/ 90k miles for this '06 Tundra Crew Cab with just as many miles. I'm loving it in comparison! Love the extra power, extra room and comfort compared to the Taco...

Welcome. For your sake, I hope you don't find what other low-mile truck owners have found under their valve covers (link1) (link2) (link3).

There's something to be said for having mileage on your vehicle.

I may have to peek at mine before long. The bolts on both head covers were loose a bit. Tighten them down. I already have the gasket set but I don't drive this thing very much and only the passenger side appears to be leaky. That's the easy side though so I guess I could get off my ass and change out the cover gaskets. When I do drive it, I like to let it warm up a bit then drive it like I stole it for a bit. Get the engine nice and hot and give it a workout. V8 engines just sound so good. My baby boost F150 will never sound good. Its rather quiet.

The valve cover bolts have integrated rubber washers that get brittle. Buy a set before you change your gaskets

Not a 4.7 but a Chevy 350 I replaced the distributor on today, he said it was running rough then wouldn’t start. Wonder why…

Thanks for the input. I had a '89 3.0 with 160k on the original motor. They can't possibly be any worse than that... But in all seriousness 95k over 16 years is roughly 6k/year on average. That's on the lower end but definitely not crazy low mileage.
