Has anyone had a 5.7 throw a rod threw oil pan? I just had it services last week and the rig has 68000 mile . No knocking nothing it’s always been serviced on time and no engine noise . But today I was heading to the farm and got about a mile from the house and it felt like the transmission slipped and it died . I coasted off the road got out and looked under and oil pouring from the side plate . Any thoughts on what failed in the engine ?
