I am in the market for a new truck and currently doing a lot of research for a new truck, coming off of F150, Ram, and currently chevy 2500HD.

Some background, i drive a lot for work, varying between 20-30,000 mi per year, trading trucks in every few years, so resale value is key. This stemmed my decision to buy the 2500hd and now the move to the tundra (and diesel fuel is absurd right now). I also tow an enclosed snowmobile trailer, 5k lbs, several times a year.

My questioned stems from the trim levels, limited vs platinum, and wanted your information on the following:

Limited - i would get the trd off road package, might install the trd lift; if installing the lift, should i opt for the off road package? will the trd lift effect towing the snowmobile trailer, will air bags be needed?

Platinum - the looks are great, no off road package available. would installing westcott lift effect the air suspension in towing a trailer? are the leather seats more comfortable than the softex in the limited?

Hybrid/Non Engine - mostly highway miles driven, is the hybrid worth the option money?

    thank you in advance,

    rick

thanks for your feedback, however with a vehicle reimbursement program through the company we cannot have a vehicle older that 4 yrs; hence the need to get out of my current truck.
